Why don’t you offer unlimited web space and bandwidth?

Simply because that is a myth, its something many companies offer but never truly provide, often you will fall under a fair use policy and whilst you have a quiet website with little traffic you will be OK, but as soon as you peak hitting that providers resources often, your host will cut your services or inform you that you need to upgrade your hosting package to a more expensive one. Another common instance which happens when you use to many server resources is that you find the speed of your website slows down which is obviously off putting your end users and potential customers. In cases of you running a Shoutcast or Icecast server you might have a package with 1000 listener ports but find that when you get 15 to 30 listeners the audio will start to lag. These hosts hope that the majority of people they overcrowd on a server will be low level users with hardly any web traffic.

Bandwidth is an expensive thing and regardless of whether your looking to host a simple HTML website, an advanced content management run site, a community site, podcast and video website, shoutcast or icecast website, there is no such thing as unlimited. Quite often you will find their bandwidth will bottleneck or you’ll be forced to upgrade in order to keep your site on line, that’s not what you or your end users and customers need.

For those reasons we never offer unlimited web space or bandwidth, what we do offer is what we believe to be a fair price for the resources you require.

In all honesty people rarely use as much space or bandwidth as they think they will, for that reason, if you select a package and you out grow it, we offer an easy way to upgrade when your ready and without pressure.
